Hi! My name is Josh. 
I started Pure Water At Home, to provide research & recommendations on drinking water and the best water filtration systems. While researching everything about water for my family, I have found it frustrating that I needed to bounce all over the web to find answers to my questions. I have created this site, in hopes that you do not need click on every search result to find the answers to your questions.
I am married and we have one child (so far). We greatly value our health & high-quality drinking water is one of our passions to live a healthy lifestyle. We drink a lot of water. Our goal is to drink half our body weight in ounces each day. If I weigh 200 pounds, I drink 100 ounces of water for the day.
Everybody needs water to live. One of the negative consequences of our modern society, is that we do not know what exactly is in our water. Everybody knows about chlorine. What about all those other chemicals & metals that show up in municipal water tests? That’s not even including the items not tested for, like excess prescription medication.
Once we learned all this “stuff” was in our water supply, we made it a priority to drink cleaner water every time possible. Nobody really knows what the long-term implications of inferior water quality for us, our children, or grandchildren will be. We know our bodies are absorbing chemicals in higher dosages from our water supply than our grandparents drunk 100 years ago.
Not only do we want the best for ourselves, we especially want the best lifestyles for our children. We want to leave the world a better place for them. One way to accomplish this goal, is by giving the gift of good health.
